Ahh shucks, thank you. I do love Syd Barrett but can't place which one sounds like him...hmm you mean the last 5 min of that medley, that does have an early Floyd sound to it....or maybe some older song on the soundcloud page?

That one is pretty Syd Barrett sounding, it is an oldie around here...sounds like a good song to rerecord with current standards of production. Hey, bless you for listening.

Let me just throw a name out there: Trembling Bells. I adore their music, and it reminds me very much of my experiences with psychedelics.
 
Listen to ott if you're looking for soothing, relaxing. They're my favorite. That guy Vanilla could be interesting to listen too, also.
If you want acid core music try aphex twin or squarepusher. Or cphex.
