I've been making some small (but important!) progress on this mission. The answer to your question is something we've always been taught, act on the ideals yourself as often as possible, and people will catch on. It's often times akward and people might think you're weird, but it seems that most people really do appreciate the type of behavior we're all preaching, but won't admit it to each other in fear of isolation from the norm.
DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE BUT THE QUOTE FUCKED UP.what happened to the little box..anyways
Very true: human beings are a social animal, we stick to the "norm" (unless like us all, we have found another way). Now I dont want to get into a deep argument on where we came from, apes or creation or as some evidence has shown we have been here for millions of years(see new dawn mag may- june issue)
The reason we stick to the norm is that in the past, if you left the group or did anything to be thrown out, you became dinner for some wild animal or hung. This is still ingrained in our syche and fear is a great power.Don't forget life as we know it is only about a hundred years old.
I think the biggest problem is hope, I have been there for many years I wanted to fight like you wouldn't believe, I didn't care if I was put in jail or even killed, but along the way I was just shut down by ignorance and bad experiences and I lost hope for man kind. I truly believed that there was no hope at all. Then I had a drug questions and came here and without even knowing it found that hope again, in bluelighters. We are not mere planets we are stars we make our own light, this is something the system cannot take from us.
Small groups or individual bluelighters speading the word, speading light, There is hope, there is another way, no longer be affraid
