Psychedelic drugs can unlock mysteries of brain - David Nutt

I never found it euphoric at all, just a very mild relaxant. If I tried taking a bigger dose I was just vomiting like a sick dog.

Are you being serious/literal? I've never known anyone vomit on ghb. That's a very odd reaction. Very. People pass out. They don't throw up.

It gets boring after days/weeks of dosing 24/7, but the start of a new bottle was always excellent. It is extremely euphoric. Throw MDMA into the mix, and you've got a pretty enjoyable experience ahead.

It gets boring even if you do it only occasionally - but I'm admittedly more of a stimulant man. I enjoyed the 2 or 3 small bottles of it I bought, but wouldn't bother looking for it now it's banned.

did you combo it with stims ever, and I don't mean MDMA, cos that's no right to be rated amongst mephedrone or wizz :D

Strange SHM, yeah I could never get much past 3ml without feeling very sick and having to lay down. 4ml and I was throwing up pigs in a blanket like a sick fuckin dog.

I don't believe I ever did. I'm not sure how it would have improved meph TBH.

SHM?

That would be me, then? My statement was in response to someone who said it got boring after the first few times. I was trying to say it wasn't. I'll get back to you on drugs that don't get boring.

Heya, yeah sorry if my post sounded a little brash. Yeah to be honest it doesn't sound like something i'd expect you to say anyway - not that i even got that far in my mind. I was on a train back from open mic night a bit worse for wear and 90% of my mind was consumed by trying to work out how i managed to have such a bad set. Too many gins and super strength polish lagers probably didn't help - though atleast the MPA straightened me out a bit.

8 circuit model of consciousness and possibly a live od

I'm sorry I'm too high to read the whole thread but did you guys get into the eight circuit model of consciousness (leary, anton wilson) If you integrate that topic into this thread so many conversations will most likely take place that their just might be a paradigm shift. We are behind the times in evolution. I think the last collective change in consciousness was 5th circuit rapture via cannabis. HOWEVER, there is certain small populations that very possibility may have activated their 8th brain consciousness via ultra high doses of lsd (~1000mcg) and hardcore meditation especially the yogis. Here is a brief introduction to this model theory that is almost perfect for this thread. It also will point you in the direction of further reading by the likes of Tim Leary, Robert Anton Wilson and more → http://is.gd/Fmixc7
Ps i think I'm starting to overdose on fentanyl as i struggle to finish this post. I put what i thought was an empty 75mcg/hr patch in my mouth (watson- gel) and out of no where a huge bitter opiod flavor overwhelmed my body. Now i keep forgetting what I'm talking about and where i am. Oh well at least if i die maybe it will caution others to not be as wreckless as me. Oh fuck i forgot i ate 300 mg temaz first. Don't worry about sending for help please, I'll be alright, i love my family

Just in case anyone were to think I'm making it up here's a pic→ http://bit.ly/N0G1Ys just please don't call me stupid i thought it was pretty much empty. Ok the walls are moving around, i usually don't trip off off mu opiod agonists. Ok i keep forgetting what I'm saying I'm going to get some fresh air

LSD can certainly open some doors in the brain... Unfortunately doors are bettr left unopened... Most of them at least... I had major anxiety and panic episodes up to a year after heavy LSD use... Like a few tabs every other day for 3 months.... I became very functional on the drug after a while.... I was working several jobs and staying up most nights... But I got really burned out from the whole scene and have never gone back...

Next time you think you are going to do lsd read the "PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE) by leary and others i would remember if i wasn't in a possible od
It's a translation of "TIBETAN BOOK OF THE DEAD" which is used as a guide for people to understand the philosophy and importance of what lsd is opening in your brain. The crazy part is the
Original Tibetan Book of the Dead was written many hundreds of years before Albert Hoffman had his little chemical spill. I'm not really afraid of dying if that's what is happening. I'm pretty sure i understand what happens next. Sidenote: dxm actually taught me more about the meaning of life and death than lsd ever did

SHM: I've thrown up loads of times, after too much G. I would say it was only really GBL that did it, as GHB feels nice and neutral in your stomach. Throwing up is pretty common, from what I've experienced, and seen others do. It's common in ODs, also. A bit like how booze would make you sick.

That's the theory mygreen, but if you ever look at the Tibetan book of the dead, it's not all that similar and they're talking about two completely different things anyway.

I'm not sure why Leary tried to conflate taking LSD with dying - perhaps he felt by calling it "ego-death" he made it sound more acceptable to policemen and politicians. Obviously it sounds a bit better saying "Dude, I was having an ego-death just like a buddhist a thousand years ago brah!!" than "Dude, I was fucked out of my brain on acid".

Perhaps we'd be better off just sticking to the idea that we're fucked out of our brains. As far as I'm concerned taking LSD has got absolutely fuck-all to do with dying and it's bizarre that all this bollocks about "death" has contaminated the experience. What do you think? Do you "feel like you've died" when you've taken acid? I feel like I'm alive rather than dying.

i like how they descreetly added in that your brain functions similarly while on psychedelics to how it does in schizophrenics. I think we're forgetting how spiritual psychs can be. Perhaps schizos are spiritually evolved

^^

Perhaps if you're looking at the response of particular brain cells it may show some similarity but the actual experience of being schizophrenic is nothing like being high on psychedelics. My friend has schizophrenia and we've talked about it and I've never found any similarity at all.

Ahh, well I specifically said GHB.

Maybe its an individual thing but i've nevrr been sick on GBL and i've gone boarderline OD both when i had tolerance and when i first started, that's only a couple of times in my whole time of using though i wanna add. i feel that another thing that makes it safer than alcohol is it doesn't make you so hazy and impulsive as you reach maximum levels - you know who you are, your memory works just fine and you know that going past a certain dose will do what it did before. in other words you stay logical - something not usually associated with someone who is pushing their alcohol levels to their maximum.

As part of the HR imperative i wanna talk just briefly about my closest OD when i had been using 2 yrs and had massive tolerance. GBL mixes well with water but it will concentrate itself towards the bottom of a mixed drink. I was on a marathon meph / mdma binge and a couple of days in so not thinking too clearly. i was measuring out doses for myself and a freid, but from pure coincidence i was finishing a glass that they had started every time, and sometimes after it had been standing for a few mins. And these were big doses poured direct from a bottle as the pipette had got lost somewhere along the line (this is a death wish in and of its self and should never be attempted).
Pure tolerance and stims kept me alive, i'm sure of it.
