psychedelia sans anorexia

I get huge munchies pretty much as soon as the peak effects are ending. As soon as I come back from that psychedelic peak my body wants sustenance.

It doesn't matter what drug it is, they all do that; even stimulants. I eat a couple hours before a trip because I have a high metabolism and I eat frequent meals throughout the day. If I don't eat before a trip, my blood sugar level will be low, I will be hungry and the trip will suck and be kind of painful...

Pretty much my experience too... except I usually don't feel hungry at all, just a lack of energy and things start to suck from low blood sugar and running out of steam. The idea of eating usually seems kind of repulsive and alien on psychedelics and/or MDMA (classic anorexia), so my solution is to eat a healthy balanced meal two hours a head of time (ideally a japanese dinner with fish, rice and vegetables) and chug protein drinks after the 4 hour mark. A glass or two of wine on the come down also helps smooth things over. That said, a simple egg omelette I made towards the end of a 2C-T-7 trip was one of the most memorable and satisfying meals I've ever had.

I'm now what they call "middle age". When I was younger, this was never an issue... I could go long periods on psychedelics without considering my body's needs. Metabolism changes as you get older.

I enjoy food on LSD at about 7 hours in(pizza/mexican food), just as the peak is ending but still very high. chocolate with cherry juice on the inside (forget the specific name) is amazing eating during an MDMA peak.
