Psych with least body load

I posted the other day about experiencing quite an uncomfortable body load on LSD. In retrospect I think some of this may have been more psychological with me not having much experience with LSD (or any psych). I found myself forgetting basic bodily functions (like how to swallow) and focusing too hard on my body..thinking my teeth had fallen out etc. However some of it I'm pretty sure was physical (muscle tension, stomach upset, loads of congestion).

So..LSD is the only psych I've tried. Are there any that generally have even less of a body load than LSD? And maybe more visual (as in actual visuals not just things moving/warping) and less headfuck (e.g. non-existent teeth etc).

Also..totally not related to the question but wondering if anyone had experienced this. I kept seeing colours on things like shiny surfaces or when the light was shining through my blinds in the morning that I'm pretty sure werent there. Almost like seeing the full spectrum of colours in one light beam and had a sort of iridescent, 'twinkling' appearance..if that makes any sense?! It happened pretty much anytime I looked at anything shiny or light producing.

I think everyone agrees that LSD has the least bodyload of all psychedelics. If you want less headfuck and least bodyload but still visuals, 2c-b is my best bet.

2C-T-7 has a pretty negligible bodyload I find, even less than LSD. Visually it's nothing short of incredible so for your needs it is highly recommended.

Also, most people learn to handle bodyloads pretty quickly, so I don't really think its worth going out of your way to find something just because it doesn't have much bodyload. Normally if you're lying down you don't notice it too much anyway.

Eventually you will probably come to accept it as part and parcel of the experience.

thats surprising , i thought the bodyload was horrid during my trials
it always passed after the come up tho and was replaced with euphoria
making it a worth while substance for me , just a little rough around the edges

I find LSD to be the easiest trip for me , concerning bodyload issues
it's just the best psychedelic out there in general IMO

Yea I thought the 2c-t-s were supposed to be pretty rough on the body with a fair bit of nausea. Never tried any myself.

4-AcO-DMT doesn't have much body load, especially at lower doses, but there is some. Compared with 2C-E, 5-MeO-MiPT, and even mushrooms, there's practically none, however. :)

LSD is the only psychedelic that rarely gives me much of any body load even at high doses. Most trips involve vomiting, although it's usually not so bad.

Ok, this may come off as a retarded question to most of you:

Can somebody define the term "body load" for me?

I have been in the drug culture for some time now and have done a lot of "homework" but somehow I have never come across this term before joining Bluelight.

It's a good question. I use it as a general term for unpleasant body sensations and especially nausea. Some people seem to associate it more with feeling heavy or otherwise feeling weird when moving more so than nausea. It's pretty ambiguous, I think. I often find myself saying "body load / nausea" to talk about general unpleasant side effects not specific enough to warrant further explanation beyond generally being experienced along with nausea. Maybe it's a result of this mental grouping or maybe it's some physiological process but when I vomit or otherwise overcome my nausea for the trip, I generally find any other physical symptoms to be less severe, at least the general nausea-esque discomfort.

The term "body load" means different things to different people, I think. The term could probably be used interchangeably with the term "side effects," ie you take the psychedelic for purposes of inducing non-ordinary states of consciousness, and in the process you also induce non-ordinary bodily sensations that can be perceived as either favorable or unfavorable depending on the specifics of the situation.

i think that disacosciatives have a body load, atleast before the peak there are most certainly noticable undesireable effects on the body, well, atleast with dxm, nitrous is kind of like a "body unload"

pretty much everytime I did dxm in highschool (just a few times, years ago) it always was deadly unpleasant until after the peak hit, then I was in a completly different world....

and im not talking about lower plateau trips, I always dosed a gram or more...

edit: this was always research grade powder, never extraction or robotussin or cccs..

Yea I think it gets a little tricky with dissociatives. I don't know if i would use the term body load though.

I find that if I go over say 40mg of K (nasally) and try to walk around and sit in a light room or watch TV or something I start feeling pretty sick. My vision gets all weird and I start to get dizzy and uncomfortable.

As soon as I lay down in a dark room though it goes away completely and I feel great. I think doing K anywhere else is kind of a waste. I really don't enjoy low doses of K for just chilling it just makes me feel weird.

I find LSD to have a very comfortable bodyload; its a bit speedy with more tight muscles and some extra energy and a lót of mental clarity that typically leads to insomnia right after the trip but it typically makes my body feel very energized and comfortable.

Add to that no nausea, no pains, no strange discomfort.. the bodyload is limited to speedy side effects only, which are actually rather pleasant most of the time.
