psilocybin/mushroom testing?!?

I know this is pill testing forums but this is the place With the most reagents info.

So I'm going shroom hunting soon an I was wondering if the the Ehrlich would test fresh mushrooms for psilocybin? Then would it non/react to other actives in the shroom?
An I was thinking would any of the other reagents test for poisons?

I know this won't help identify the shroom
An I know its not good to eat unknown shrooms

Nah forget the ehrilich, it's too finicky of a reagent IMO


Both the marquis and mecke will react to 4-HO-DMT, DMT and a variety of other tryptamines. If I'm right the mecke has a stronger reaction so it should be able to pick up small amounts of drug in the shrooms better. I don't know how other drugs in fungus will react though, non-edible shrooms might have some alkaloid in them that reacts the same so you'd have to be very careful no matter what..
