Psilocybin and LSD Storing

I have a little vacation planned and I don't get very large paychecks as I work in a grocery store. On my vacation I plan to trip on LSD and magic mushrooms. Its about a month, maybe a month and a half or so until the vacation. I want to buy them now so that I can ensure that I have my substances when it's time to ship off. I'm very concerned about losing potency though. Any tips on storing them and whether or not the loss will be significant?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum guys, this is my first post x)

Welcome to bluelight & PD! :D

It's the correct forum, but for your information we have a central thread on storage you could have posted. :)
For future reference, use the Psychedelic Index and the advanced search engine to find your subject of discussion. Also, read the Beginners FAQ, it will save you time finding your way around.

About your question: I assume the mushrooms are dried? If not, dry them cracker-dry first using desiccant material.
Degradation comes from 4 factors, you can remember it that way. Firstly heat, the higher the temperature the faster the degradation.
Then oxygen and water, including the water present in normal air. Then also light, this is more important for LSD than mushrooms.

So guard against all these the best you can, use a container that can be sealed airtight, put a package of dessicant in it and also put the drugs in, each in their own bag you also vacuumed. Oh and put the LSD in tin foil / aluminum foil before putting it in something else.
Last, put the container that keeps out the air and water in the fridge or freezer. Depending on the climate you live in this may not be that essential if it's only a month. Instead, if your container is not air-tight enough cooling it may actually be worse than not... because of condensation you get in cooled atmospheres.

Hopefully this answers your question, if it does I would then close this thread. Also let us know if you understand how to find your way around, it's easy though: the links are below in my signature - you would do well to save the links if you plan on visiting more often. Which is encouraged!
