30mg Pseudoephedrine & 0.5g Paracetamol - 1st P.E. - Very Energised
I have a new job where I have to get physically active for long periods of time (sorry I cannot go in to details on this!) After a morning at work, I was on lunch break, and took a pill (intended for relieving colds, I believe) having never tried any kind of ephedra. Prior to deciding to take the pill, I had read up on this class of drugs on Erowid. The result of my reading was the decision never to consider a dose any larger than 100mg.
Pill contents:
11:00-12:00: Walking around, eating, back to the office.
12:00: Took one pill, which contains 30mg of Pseudoephedrine. Sat around playing with internet for the next hour or so.
1:00: Talked to some people, stood up a little and maybe felt something energy-wise but didn't walk around or do anything active to really notice the difference. Started to feel very cold.
1:30: Started physically active work again. The cold went away. Definitely felt abnormally energised - great!
2:30: Break in work. My mouth was extremely dry. Despite drinking water, it stayed that way. I was positively emotionally charged (possibly as a result of my abnormally successful work stint!) and still energetic.
2:50: Walked from work to the station. Felt energised.
3:10: Met some friends close to home, who invited me to go shopping. Normally I would be too tired to think about going out after a day's work, but I didn't think twice about joining them this time around.
Around 5:00: Finished shopping (I tried lots of clothes and bought quite a few.. normally shopping bores me to tears and I have no patience for it whatsoever!), and went for dinner.
Around 6:30 (??? getting very vague on times here): Walked to the train station and jumped on a train home. About now I started to feel the energy sapping and aches coming in to my knees (which I had exerted a lot earlier in the afternoon). Remained in good spirits and by the time I made it home (7:00? 7:30?) was still energised enough to go out again briefly for a second time.
The next day, I could still feel a little ache in my limbs (due to the exercise), but it had almost gone. All things considered, I am very happy with this experience and will be taking equal doses of ephedrine in future to assist me with my otherwise tiring and strenuous work.
One observation - compared to MDxx, which in my experience seem to block your ability to perceive your level of hydration through normal mechanisms - pseudoephedrine allows you to maintain your normal awareness of your body.
As a final note, I would of course be happier to have a pure source of (Pseudo)ephedrine. I plan read up on the effects of paracetamol (acetaminophen) to see what the effects of taking two or three pills simultaneously (1 - 1.5g of paracetamol) will be.
If you try ephedra yourself, from my reading I would suggest you keep the dose under 100mg. Probably for a 'normal' (healthy, well rested, regular weight-range) person, 30mg is enough to give you noticable effects, whereas if dosage effects the intensity of the experience, double that should be fairly strong. The biggest side-effect (dehydration) will keep me away from a larger than 60mg dose for the forseeable future.

Pill contents:
- 30mg of Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride
- 0.5g of Paracetamol (I think this is called Acetaminophen in the US).
