I just started Prozac (20 mg/day, tho I really don't think I need it) and I have done some speed since then, not nearly as much as I used to, but a few bumps. I've searched online to see if it can cause a dangerous interaction but haven't found a lot of info. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Does anyone have info?

Also are there interactions between Prozac and MDMA? I've heard about serotonin syndrome...

Any help appreciated!

Prozac is a SSRI, so it will alter the effects of your methammphetamine high and will likely block MDMA's effects.

Prozac does not interact with serotonergic drugs like MDMA and speed in the same way that other SSRI's like Zoloft do. Fluoxetine (prozac) blocks MDMA to a degree and also reduces the severity of the comedown. I've read papers on this and can verify its truth from personal experience. Zoloft, on the other hand, neither blocks MDMA nor reduces the severity of its comedown; it will make the comedown about 10x worse.

I was on sertraline (Zoloft) and ignored all the warnings about it blocking the effects of MDMA. I took more than enough MDMA to roll and felt absolutely nothing. If you don't want to waste your money, I suggest you don't use MDMA while on any SSRI. Like mentioned earlier, I learned this the hard way.

so self-defeating to take prozac and still use m, cut it out, the prozac if anything is blunting your high, get your priorities straight, get off the fence, stop fucking with your neurochem imo
