Good Morning Everyone (Anyone). I hope you guys are having a fruitful day.
Provigil is a newer anti-narcoleptic. If you would like the logistics of how Provigil came on the market, might I suggest this new search engine I learned about called Google. That is not the story I am telling.
If you do Google Provigil, you may find articles that refer to executives using the drug, mostly prescribed for MS fatigue, Cancer fatigue and Shift Work Syndrome, to become somewhat super human in their daily lives.
I am a 35 year old administrative professional female. I live in a Hippie Dippy town in the South (You would be surprised) that has about 200,000 people. I am prescribed xanax, ambien 10 mg a night, a prescription for hydrocodone 10/500 PRN for my damned hurt thing. Don't drink but do smoke I really like the hydrocodone for recreation, when possible (My monthly stipend is small and have a crazy high tolerance for anything, so 5 for one night is super counter productive to my pain needs). I also am a master of tapering and do not take opiates daily. I cannot stand amphetamines, Addy makes me a real weirdo. I cannot talk to anyone. My man person enjoys addy for work.
Earlier this summer, my someone was diagnosed with something and long story short, that someone gave me a Provigil for my man person to try. I gave him the pill and he took half. Claimed it was a cleaner speedy rush than adder and he preferred it to any other upper he had had. !st half at 9 am, 2nd half at 2. He did all the drudge work that we all put off at his job that day.
As I hate Speed, but am curious, I decided to try one on a Monday morning for work. I bit into the round white pill (no idea the mgs, Sorry![:\](https://bluelight.org/xf/BL_Images/Orig_Emoji/wrygrin.gif "wry grin :\")
). Within 20 minutes I felt the kick in, which I hate. I found myself apologizing to my man person for the mess I had left the night before. Not like me to even notice the mess I made. I then drove to work. On addy, with teeth grinding, I drive like an @sshole. On Provigil, the drive was not teeth grinding, nor was it tedious. I was just surprisingly 10 minutes early. I went into work and bit off another piece (this is amazing because I never take more addy). Provigil lasted a long time. Before the day was over, I had found a clause in a case that we had been working on for months, I had gone to three different grocery stores, had a massage and was actually able to focus on my breathing for over an hour. I was tweaked but not tweaking. I was 20 feet above the air and it was a sunny day. I bit into half of the second half (so 1/4 more) around 2 pm. Didn't do much. I was just working without thinking about working, but I was doing a better job at my job. The only tweak like thing about the onset was that I found myself annoyed with my music.
This is not the drug from Limitless (love that movie), but it is as close as I have ever known. Coke without the cloudiness and ego (well maybe some of the ego). The crash was nill. I slept great with just ambien and 100 mgs of benadryl (usual dosage). I might take the last one that I have in my purse now to see if I have have similar reactions than yesterday. Gonna take a half. Will repost if time permits.
