I'ma very skinny guy only weigh about 9 stone and i'm nearly 6`1 foot. I want a ladie so would protein help rather than doing steroids?8o

Yes. Whey protein (and proper diet/training) can go a long way. Wait to hit the juice after you have trained several years naturally.

Thanks for replies people. would i get instant results,i don't mean a sixpack after 1 use but how long?

100% Whey is the only protein that ill use.. 26g per scoop..
no fat like with muscle milk.. none of that bullshit.
100% whey has whey protein isolates and concentrates and it works fantastic
Gold Standard and the brand that they sell at Maxx Muscle is the absolute best

could you post a link to a site please Deadhead or is that against the rules?

Deadhead is talking about the same stuff that Colt posted, just be very careful with all the concentrates and what not...some of that stuff is not necessary and the body doesn't utilize it...TBC Whey Isolate, ON 100% Gold Standard, and Trueprotein.com are all great choices...also the fat that is in Muscle Milk is extremely good for you as fat is needed in your diet...carbs are what need to be cut back/out to lose fat

no you aren't going to get instant results and you need to get the rest of your diet straightened out, diet is the absolute key to gaining lean quality mass and losing fat...most of your nutrients need to come from real food and less reliance on shakes...if you want to grow you need to eat a lot of clean food...eat eat eat and when you feel like you need to puke, eat some more

Would i be able to put on weight in say like a couple of weeks with the whey protein and eating at least one meal a day?

hell no, well at least not good weight...you need a minimum of 3 meals per day, but with the amount of calories you need to take in, then you need to shoot for 5-6 large meals per day and you need to be active not just 'sitting on your ass playing video games' (not saying that is what you do just as an emphasis example.)

how old are you? this really sounds like a high schooler type issue to me.

You won't gain weight with protein, if anything upping your protein will make you loose weight/fat.

You need a card based supplement like n-large2. Drink that 4 times a day and you will definitely see some gains. Don't go for pure protein it's the extra carbs you need!!

If you don't want to buy a weight gainer but already have protein powder just make your own.

Add protein, milk, oats, peanut butter into a blender and there you go. Can also add things like olive oil, bananas etc etc.

Not sure where you got that bold/underlined part, but it is nowhere near true. Protein that is not utilized by the body is either turned into urea and pissed out or it is stored in fat cells. Excess protein can easily make you fat if you are not doing anything to force your body to utilize it.

Now it is better to throw in carbs and healthy fats as well, so I have no argument there.
