I have come to believe that Benzedrex is significantly toxic due to recent symptoms experienced (in any case it is quite dirty as far as stimulants go).
This is my short account of using the drug:
Over the span of about 9 months I used about 50 Benzedrex inhalers. Not really a full blown addict or anything, but I used those goddamn rods quite a bit. I am good at tolerating the nastiness of cotten ingestion, and never once had nausea.
Yet, after awhile of using this shit about 3x/week, never more than a single rod at a time, I experienced some strange and alarming side effects:
1) serious episodes of nystagmus the next-day and couple days after eating rods (reflex eye-twitching involuntary movements). When driving a car, and especially turning the car, one of my eyes would not catchup to the other one, and for a second or two I'd have this jarring, wobbling feeling and then finally the eyes would refixate with some effort. During conversations, my eyes would not line up properly so I turned my head away from people in order to reconnect, so to speak.
This would continue for most of the day regardless of situation and continue for at least 3 more days.
2) weird sensation and total weakness in my knees the next day after using a rod. Felt like my knees had been hollowed out and replaced with sacs of air.
The nystagmus aspect shared the shit out of me. I of course stopped using the rods, but then tried another about 2 months later figuring things had reset - the eye twitching CAME BACK in full force. Needless to say...that is alarming because my first 15+ experiences involved no eye symptoms.
I am no expert but that kind of thing seems to reek of some bad physiological forces at work.
Shit is not worth it. Don't use. (my first post; sorry if this was misplaced or something)
