After encountering some rather effusive research on Benzedrex, I decided to raid my nearby pharmacy for a few inhalers of the stimulant. When I returned home, I popped open a single inhaler and removed the cotton tube.
T+0
I cut the cotton into 10 pieces, wrapped it into paper towels, and parachuted them with grape soda. Contrary to most reports, the taste isn't horrible--it's just unusual.
T+15
Smiling and slightly giddy. This is probably a placebo effect, as the propylhexedrine cannot be digested that quickly.

Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.... No euphoria yet; however, I feel light-headed and am unable to walk more than five feet. This lethargy is highly reminiscent of my Benadryl days..
T+120
Some bruxism (jaw clenching) as well as the occasional jitteriness. Still no euphoria. Luckily, my heart rate and BP are stable, and I haven't experienced a single headache yet.
T+150
Listening to some music now. I seem to be a bit more attuned to the rhythms of my songs, but any psychological effect beyond this slight music appreciation is nonexistent.

Effects seem to have peaked. I doubt that I will experience a comedown since I felt almost nothing during the previous three hours.
T+240
Effects have completely subsided, and I have reached my original baseline.
Overall, I was sorely disappointed with this drug. Though I knew that it was an OTC, the numerous praises for the inhaler seemed to elevate it to amphetamine-status, causing me to unwisely waste $10 as well as four hours. As for the future, I can safely say that nothing will persuade me to ingest a piece of cotton again.
However, every experience is different, including mine. For example, my past amphetamine-use may have overshadowed the subtle speediness of the Benzedrex, which might actually be enjoyable to people who have never tried harder stimulants. Hopefully, more people can shed some insight into this substance, allowing potential users to access more holistic research.
