propoxyphene napsylate (Darvon)

I understand that Darvon (propoxyphene napsylate) has very little recreational value. Does it have recreational value if it is snorted rather than swallowed? Would anyone recommend this or recommend against? Thanks

If your opiate tolerance is very low you should be able to catch a buzz of off 4 of them. Don't snort it! Way to much powder to put in your nose for too little effect. Snorting APAP is not pleasant.

I think that this is one of those iffy drugs, where some ppl swear by them, and others think that they are crap. Just depends on your body chemistry I guess.

I think I read a report on Darvon that said that it is VERY dangerous to exceed the prescription dosage, and has been linked to numerous deaths where the dosage has been exceeded or it has been mixed with alcohol or other depressants.
So I'd do an internet search on it before you start taking multiple pills to get high (whether you swallow or snort).

Darvocet does have a low safety margin, especially if you are trying to get a buzz. It is one of the top 10 drugs reported by coroners in overdose deaths. And don't snort them unless you think EXTREME pain is recreational, trust me on this one.
 
We are talking about DARVON - there is no APAP, it's only like 60mg propoxy.. DO NOT SNORT THEM .. I have put a lot of shit up my nose and NOTHING has burt worse... but yeah, at about 200mg an opiate virgin could catch a mild buzz...
If you IV about 60mg it;s like a totally differn't drug though, so if yer not needle shy, go that route...
 
I find the buzz from propoxyphene(sp) quite enjoyable! I have been on oxy for the last 3 days and hydrocodone for two days before that! And I caught a decent, enjoyable buzz today off of these!
Not the best, but it seems like your body accepts this drug alot different!
