Propoxyphene buzz

I got some mylan 155, which is generic for darvocet-N. It's 100 Propoxyphene and 650 Acetaminophen . Can i get a high anywhere near vicodin or percocet?
These any good?

400mg of propoxyphene gives me a good buzz. Its like Tramadol though. Some people get a buzz from it and other dont. I dont really care for propoxyphene though. Its more of a fucked up feeling compared to Vicodin. If you got a tolerence to opiates they aint no good.

You can get a buzz from it, though its going to be milder than vicoden and similar drugs. Higher doses of it are toxic to your heart though, so don't go eating a lot of it.

No more than 300mg of propoxyphene and NO ALCOHOL as this will make things 100 times worse for your heart & the buzz. Personally I find the effect they produce as being like virtigo (dizzyness, puking/nausea) and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

This substance sucks recreationally but it ROCKS to kill opiate wds, amazing, i went through a 50 mg oxy habit and for 5 days i took 100 mg dxp and couldn feel any muscle pains or shit, maybe a little chills and so...

I took 2 the other night while drinking, I've taken more than 5 while drinking..

Yeah I'd also like to know more about this "heart toxicity" issue. I've never heard about that and I've taken rediculous doses, like 1200mg's.

Propoxyphene is nothing special really. Apparantly it helps with withdrawls, but that's about it.
As for the high, don't expect it to be anywhere near as blissfull as other Opiates.
It is more stimulating for me, than anything though... and doesn't produce any euphoria. I would choose Tramadol over propoxyphene any day.

Be very careful with propoxyphene. It is very dangerous above 100mg for some people. There have been many deaths, and it's starting to show up bigtime in the news. But, I personally, have taken up to 1600mg.

Darvon is a total waste of time in every sense of the phrase. High risk with a minimal buzz. Don't even bother.

It has also been proven that propoxyphene is no more effective than aspirin. Take that into consideration.

What's the difference between dextropropoxyphene and propoxyphene?

Here you can get only _dextro_propoxyphene and it's considered as "hard" drug as tramadol and buprenorphine. It's in the same schedule...

I heard it's easy to OD and it's a little bit weaker than codeine.

Probably the popularity of the drug in the pain killing area is because this stuff is old and it has been used for years and proven as a good pain killer. It's like barbiturates. Good for some specific purpose and easy to OD. And normally doctors write prescriptions for euphoric drugs to patients who they think that won't overdose the drug. It's a good medicine for pain killing when not abused.
