Stimulants Proper way to break up Adderall XR

Hi blue folks,

I am still rather new here but thought I might be able to contribute something after reading how people break up there adderall xr. I apologize if this technique has been mentioned but I have not seen it here ( + I came up with it -- to my knowledge at least).

People say they use a mortar and pestle easily, but you need it!

1.) So, the easiest way to break up the little balls is to put them on a flat surface close together.

2.) Take a plastic card (like a credit card) but without indentations and place it on the addy balls. (Make sure they are centered, don't do too much at a time -- My doppleganger does 10mg at a time)

3.) Push down on the card and move in around in a circle. Once they break (you will feel it), push down harder and continue swirling). Keep doing this until all the beads are gone. (Should take < 30 seconds)

4.) Lift up the card and do as you please with the magical dust that sits in front of you.

I got a better idea:

1) Place the bids into a mortar and pestle device.
2) Crush the bids into a fine powder with a wall-down-the-center motion.
3) If no pestle and mortar, crush the bids into your mouth until you feel no more solid and swallow with water.

I would put them in an envelope or a folded piece of paper and use a flat-bottomed cup to smush them to powder. That's my method.

3) If no pestle and mortar, crush the bids into your mouth until you feel no more solid and swallow with water.

This was to help people without a mortar and pestle...

As far as crushing them in your mouth... I don't think anyone needs help with taking this orally. I was trying to help those who prefer other methods.

This technique creates fine dust for those who need it for the preferred ROA... with only a plastic card.

If you don't have a pestle and mortar you probably don't have a toilet or a bed, in which case, you don't have a creditcard either or else you would use it to buy these things, instead of torturing yourself to crush Adderall with it. Pestle and mortar can be found in any store at a shit price, it's not a rotatory evaporator.

This site promotes intelligence and knowledge, it would be nice if you adopted its values, it would be equally beneficial to you.

^That's pretty much what I was gonna say. If you can't afford a $5 pill crusher then you should take a break. It's gonna cause a lot more damage than that in the end to be snorting little chunks of pill.

Must people comment just to insult? The only reason why I posted this is because I saw threads where people were struggling to break it up. None of my friends have a mortar and pestle.

KSA - I wouldn't go out of my way to get a mortar and pestle. I am not broke, I just can't see myself ever buying one for this purpose.

Also Felonious.. it turns it to dust the way I described it. I think this is a harm reduction post for someone who won't let a lack of a pill crusher stop them from snorting a pill. At least this gets rid of chunks...

Interesting, I developed the same technique on my own but called it an inward spiral with a powder buffer to prevent the beads from flying out. Combined that with a repeated tapping of the mortar while it is held at an angle to make any unpulverized fragments surface before regrinding and you have the ultimate technique.

Ps. I cherish my mortar and pestle. It can grind all sorts of things. It is an ancient tool. Do not be a stubborn fool and go out and by one. You will not regret it.

Crushing Adderall XR with a creditcard with intent to snort it isn't harm reduction, it is potentially dangerous behavior that has you snort pill chunks that belong in your intestines. If these chunks go into your lungs, you have a problem on your hand. If you think your powder is fine enough, look at it under a microscope.

Stop trying to be right and apply proper procedure.

For your last post, do you really think most people look under a microscope when they snort anything (esp when it looks powdery)?

Also, proper procedure is a funny notion. Can you honestly say that you follow proper procedure when it comes to drugs at all time? Don't lie...

There's many reasons why someobody would turn Adderall XR into powder:

- you obtain instant release, for late hours when XR is inappropriate.
- you can mix in other amphetamines like dextroamphetamine, to obtain lower ratio of levo, like 15% instead of 25%.
- you can mix in clonidine to moderate norepinephine increase and make it more selective to dopamine.

As you can see, there are many useful applications to crushing XR.
