Proper Nose Care, Taking care of your nose when using drugs intranasally

What harm reduction methods can be used to reduce damag to the nostrils and nose? I notice many drug users have fucked up noses and was wondering if anyon has come up with a smart idea to counter act the poblms associated with it.

I was thinking of using some type of cream, or something else to snort up the nose.

Any ideas?

Good question, im curious to hear some feed back on the topic, i also use the ROA and i can already notice my sense of smell has greatly decreased in the last 2yrs with all the stuff that goes up there.

There are other options which are less damaging than insufflation (Oral, rectal, at times IV). Oral is best overall.

When I used to insufflate pills, I would run water down my nose out of paranoia (I know some older users who have developed polypus later in life which require surgery to regain sense of smell/nasal breathing, which does not always work). At some point when my nose began to bleed, I decided to stop.

I snort water every once in a while but it's usually only to help break down/dislodge Oxy stuck up there. If I get lazy and don't use a grater and just smash it on a hard surface it doesn't crush nearly as well so I end up with savage chunks =P

you can buy sodium chloride nasal solution in pharmacies here... just pop that down your nose after a long night of sniffing and its all gravy

1. Always use clean straws (don't share straws and don't use dollar bills)
2. If you are snorting pills, don't use dollars to crush them - you don't know where that nasty dollar has been
3. I like to keep nasal saline around for when my nose feels dry, since a dry nose can lead to bleeding
