"proper" K holes from insufflation vs. IM

After reading through several threads on K holes, I've come across several people who have said they either couldn't K hole or didn't get a "proper" hole off of insufflated K. I'd like to get a vague idea of how common this is.

Also, what are the QUALITATIVE differences between insufflated and IM'd K? In particular, are insufflated doses less able to cut you off from reality? Several people described still being able to see or hear even while they experienced ego death.

Insufflated ketamine is only something like 60% absorbed to the blood, remainder being processed through the gut to norketamine.

Thanks a lot. I get that you have to snort more for the same effects, but I'm mostly wondering if insufflated ketamine lacks anything qualitatively important for people, versus IM.

insufflated is usually more of a mellow, recreational stone rather than the immersive dissociative/psychedelic experience that IMing gives you. If you try to go for a k hole with snorting, you end up wasting a lot of powder, and sometimes i freak out a bit cause of the longer duration (than IM)

IM onset will be much fatser and a more uniform 'peak'. More psychedelia, less sedation, less ketamine used in total.

I dont shoot drugs any more but i must say that is the best way to take ketamine, with a shot ill k hole from about 200 to 250 mgs and from insufilation i k hole at about 300 to 350 mgs.
