Is there any difference between the two?

I have been using Phenergan - the active ingredient in which is Promethazine Hydrochloride - to potentiate my opiates and to stop the "opi-itch" they sometimes give you. I also take it for anxiety and insomnia. I find it works excellently for all of those things.

I have just discovered a seemingly similar product called Avomine in which the active ingredient is called Promethazine Theoclate.

Is there a notable difference between the two? Or is this a bit like asking the difference between Coca-Cola and Pepsi?

Has anybody had experience of both products (regardless of reason for use)? Which did you prefer?

Dunno about this specific one but generally it varies very little, it's just the way the drug has been compounded. Might be slightly different absorption but the active ingredient is still the same.

Ah. So basically the difference is negligible?
