I gave the benzos+opiates mix a try a few months ago. Back then, I was already using codeine daily, feeling almost nothing from 320mg but feeling a little sick from 400mg.
I was tired of not being able to enjoy my codeine high as I used to when I had a low-tolerance, so I decided to pop some tranxene (or tranxillium) hoping that it would make a big difference. It did.
I should mention that I tried this combo one night, and that at noon time that same day I had 375mg of tramadol and drank a beer. I don't think it made a big difference in my high that night since at least 8 hours passed from the moment I took tramadol and the moment I took my combo, but since tramadol high lasts a looong time it may have added some sedation and helped me nod.
Around 8pm I popped 50mg promethazine. I waited 30 minutes and popped 15mg tranxene. I waited another 30 minutes, during this time I was doing a CWE on 320mg codeine.
I played Saints Row III while wainting for my solution to be ready. Once it was done, I drank the bitter liquid and went out for a smoke while listening to Confortably Numb, as usual. I was smoking my cigarette when it hit me, and it was beautiful. I was so happy, and stoned.
I nodded uncontrollably for 1-2 hours. I sat on a chair, and I couldn't keep my eyes open. Everytime they were closing themselves I was dreaming, just for a few seconds, and then I would wake up and realize that what I had just seen wasn't real.
I was nodding and with my eyes which couldn't focus my vision was a little blurry. It almost felt like I was hallucinating.
I typed this trip report live, and it was really difficult
This is my best experience with codeine so far, and this is what I miss the most, benzos+opiates. I've done this mix a few times after that, and I also tried the codeine+xanax mix but it didn't work as great as the codeine+tranxene mix. I've ran out of tranxene and xanax, and I'm afraid I'll never experience something this good again.
