Prolonged Ecstasy Use

what's up yall -
I was wondering if anyone has been rolling for a prolonged period of time, maybe since X was legal. I wanted to see if someone who has been rolling that long and continues to do it has felt any major side effects. I don't buy into all of the propaganda surrounding ecstasy use, I first rolled in '06 according to my pillreports reports lol and I have not really felt anything. thanks stay safe.
 
What do you call a prolonged period? I stopped using E about 5 months ago after 10 years of regular use ranging from moderate single doses once every three or four months to several years at the end taking repeated, cumulative high doses over 10 to 12 hours in single monthly sessions. Toward the end I had major hangover symptoms for up to a month - the lingering major symptoms were total loss of interest in sex, depression, anxiety and just feeling mentally and physically retarded in the true dictionary sense of the word.

In some respects I almost call it a lost decade for me. I was functional, maintained a loving long-term relationship, successfully ascended a corporate career ladder, bought a home, etc. During much of that time I was an enthusiastic proponent of MDMA and thought everything was fine. At 5 months clean my mental, physical and emotional health have vastly improved with the depression gone and just this month I finally rediscovered a healthy sex drive - the anxiety is also very much improved although there is still room for more recovery. I call it the lost decade because it's only in retrospect that I realize how shitty I felt for so much of the time. I started this whole 5 month thing as a 1 year break to get the magic back, but now that I feel much better I find that I actually have an aversion to the thought of taking E, so I really don't know if this is quits or if that aversion will fade with time.
 
I really don't know how you don't feel anything major, thats surprising to me. I was using MDMA moderately and felt major changes in me, but i was also smoking a ton of weed which may have brought it out more for me. But yea people who use MDMA for a prolonged time seem to want to ignore the fact that they are still functional, but functioning at a lower standard. For some people that may be fine, but i think i am for the most part done with MDMA or keeping it to once a year. I think its a vicious cycle to get into, and it definitely does impact a persons life even at monthly usage.
 
u need to look at 3 things bro 1. have u noticed any bad effects from ur usage ,,, 2. the ever growing pile of studies the continue to prove that e can cause short term and potentially long term brain damage in people, especially heavy users.. and 3. the ever growing number of "horror story threads" on this forum of people who feel they have done harm to themselves because of e. From there u can decide whether or not to continue ur prolonged usage.. And from what I gather from ur past threads u are a pretty heavy user. I know for me it was because of 2. and 3. that I decided to stop using mdma all together once and for all. I really enjoyed using e but at the end of the day its not worth the risk.. My body, brain and life are much more important to me. Peace and Love..

I asked this like three months ago it's all good. I was just wondering if there was any people out there that have rolled for 15-20 years at a constant pace and how they feel now, that's all.
