Professional Chemical Testing

Are there such places where you can pay to have certain chemicals tested to see exactly what they are? I'm not asking to see whether Joe Blow can see whether he got proper MDXX pills or not from his dealer, but whether something is what the seller says it is in regards to its legality. A lot of RC vendors are not giving out chemical names now, rather just a branding name saying it is legal. I want to make sure if I do buy what they claim is legal, that I am not in fact breaking the law.

Any info would be great.

Cheers,

Jeano

Hi Jeano,
I am a chemist and I think I can help you. Provide me product names and I will help you find the chemical names. That's the easy part... but then we must find out if there are currently analytical methods in use to test for the chemical(s). Chances are if there are no methods available, then it's not illegal. There is something called Mass spectroscopy and yes you can identify a lot of chemicals using that.

Well I am looking at testing the RC chemicals called B2, Jolly Green Granules, Kryptonite and MADCAT. I have a suspicion they are all the same chemical - namely Prolintane. However it could possibly be something else along the lines of a cathinone derivative which would put someone in a lot of trouble if they were caught importing it into a place with analogue laws.

Also, if it was Prolintane, would anything show up if they tested for it at Customs?

The problem with identifying the drug name through a product name is just that. Someone can easily name a different drug as that same product name. I believe there's a news article(or something, I've seen it posted several times on this website) where they did a test on the NRG products and a few others, and each of the same product names tested as a different drug.

I would maybe suggest ecstasydata because they also do other drugs aside from the powder. But I don't know if you're in the US and I don't know how that would work out shipping that from another country.

Thanks hypnotik..........you really took me off a big task.....LOL. You see somethings they can test for and some things they can't test for.
