Problems with Insufflation

Over the past couple years I have been on and off all sort of opiates. While many of my friends went to needles, I stuck with snorting. From Oxy's up to Heroin, always used my nose. I wouldn't consider myself a HEAVY user but somewhere between average and heavy in my use. I also used somewhat sporadically at times. It has only been over the past year that I was snorting stuff on a daily basis because I became dependent and had to unless I wanted to be sick. Long story short, I'm not getting the same drip I used to get when I snort stuff. Back when I started out, I would snort a line then get a massive drip(feel the whole line drip down my throat within 30-60 seconds). Now, I snort a massive line and within 5 minutes or so, I will feel a little drip down. It won't even be enough to get me high. Then over the next hour I will slowly feel the rest drip down in small increments. When this first started happening a couple months ago, I figured it would most definitely have to be my sinus. But now this is still going on even when my nose feels completely clear. Just to be sure I would feel what I was snorting, I have tried blowing my nose and using nasal spray beforehand but with no real success. I swear going into it my nose is clear as day. I can hold down one nostril and try to breath through the other and I will see it's perfectly clear, but where is the drip? I have now been trying to go clean from opiates but I still use a Roxy about once every week or 2. Last time I used, a week ago, I snorted 45mg and never got a drip or any high. The week before, I took 35mg orally and got super high. So what's going on here? I'm about ready to completely ditch Insufflation altogether and just swallow my dose every time. But man I wish I could snort a roxy like I used to.

I can't answer your questions but no doubt my nose is FUCKED UP. I've been putting drugs up my nose for a long time and I can barely breathe out of one nostril and the other one doesn't really work at all. I long ago stopped getting heavy duty instant drip, and I don't get nearly as strong of a rush.

If I had the willpower I wouldn't insufflate ever again, but we all know how that goes.

Maybe you could try liquid insufflation? Failing that, maybe you haven't cut your drug finely enough, leaving larger pieces that won't absorb properly.

Anyway OP, you said it: you don't need to snort it.

If you've risked damaging your sinuses/ nostrils, then not snorting would be in your best interests. Have you considered taking your drug IR btw? I may be wrong here, but the risk of permanent damage is smaller than snorting if done correctly. Also, the effects are far more intense, especially with opiates.

IV? I have friends that I witnessed over time slowly fuck up their lives when they started doing that. I've never wanted to cross that barrier. I have really shitty veins for it. I tried it once and missed, pricked myself like 5 times then just said fuck it. I just feel like a complete Junky when I try. As far as being safer, I've heard of more severe consequences from doing it that way. Like if you hit an artery or get cotton fever. Not that these are common things if done right, but I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking to oral MOSTLY. I've seen my friends miss a huge shot and his whole arm bubbles up then has to go to the ER. Not even trying to mess with that. Maybe if I had a private nurse to administer it LOL.

I think he was talking about plugging, but you sinus could be inflamed and catching the drugs this happens to me after a couple days of sniffing never less a year. Another possibility is that you could have nose hairs or snot blocking the dope in your nose I have a friend who always gets lines stuck in his nose when were doing blow unless he trims his nose hairs

Oh ok plugging.... Yea not too fond of that either. I think I will just give my nose some time, I'm sober right now a week in. I usually relapse at this point, but I'm so tired of being sick all the time. I think my nose will get a nice break then re-try later. I don't think it would be hairs blocking such a massive amount of the line but at this point I don't really know.
