Problems while snorting opana/oxycodone

So I started snorting oxycodone about a month or two ago. A week or so ago I started mixing it with opana or snorting just straight opana, but I have been having issues some of the times.
The problem is when I start inhaling with the straw through my nose the powder goes straight to my throught. And, once it is there it turns to a nasty gell like substance and I either have to swallow it or spit it out because if I don't I vomit. This also happened with the oxycodone but that did not turn to the gell like stuff, it would just burn which I kind of like. But, in both cases I wouldn't get an of the effects.
So my question is what do I do to keep it from going straight to my throught? Do I just put the straw up farther or is there a special tequnique to snorting? I am kind of new to snorting stuff so any help would be greatly appreaciated.
 
Dont snort as hard, split into smaller lines and split evenly between nostrils for best absorption. And btw, opana is known for gelling up a bit.... just something you have to deal with....
 
Opanas gel up a bit. Rotate nostrils for better absorption like chemicalsmile said.
 
hey i just did some lines and im having the same problem with one nostril. Sometimes theres just nothing you can do if your nose is really dry, no matter how soft you sniff or what angle you put the straw itll still go straight back. While this irritates me with oxy, its not a loss so whatever, but with opana if youre having this problem do a little bump and let it gel up in your nose then do the rest so it gets caught in the gel.
 
I dont know abotu opana, but for your oxy and whatever pill it is your dealing with, see if u can scrape off the coating with your nail. Takes about 2-3 minutes depending on nail size lol and i find is wayyy better for when snorting.
 
Yeah lol just throw the pill in your mouth and let it sit there for a few seconds, and then u can wipe the coating off no problem. Alot easier and faster than trying to peel it all off
 
Tried taking the coating off. Failed at taking it off by wetting it but failed but I managed to get it off with a razor and it was a much smoother experiance. Thanks for all the help.
 
the problem w/ the opana is the coating on it. Even when you scrape it off there is almost always some left and this will cause it to gel when it hits your mucous membranes. The best way to avoid this is to scrape the pill throughly, i usually use a sharp razor blade. DO NOT put it in your mouth or under the sink as people do with OC. The slightest bit of water is what causes it to gel, even thoe when you crush it it may look like powder. Once your done with the coating crush it, and i mean pulverize the little angel. Spend however long it takes to grind it up, dont rush it. Once its completely powder like fine coke is, make 3-5 little lines and alternate 1 in 1 nostril and the 2nd line in the other. repeat as needed. Oh and make sure you blow/clean/drain your nose before you snort as to clear out any wetness lingering around.

That's what I been doing. I use a spoon yo crush it take like 20 min or so to crush three of them (5mg each). An before that spen like 20 or so scraping every last drop of the coating off. Granted I only done this twice but it seamed to work well.
 
Yeah sorry what I said about just throwing it in your mouth was meant for the oxys not opana, shoulda been more specific. Opana + moisture + Not good. Lol doesnt matter with oxys
 
well opana 5 you dont have a coating to take off pill is blue right through it. the 5 is a IR and its round the opana ER has 6 or 8 sides to it and its not the coating that has the time reless its the pill its self and you my wont to look it up some more the shit that makes it gell up get into your lungs its not goog for you at all.
