Problems w/searching my username to find posts

With the old layout I remember being able to search my user name and select "display as posts" or something like that. Then, I could click the title of my most recent posts and go straight to the thread and page number I posted on. It was easy to see if anyone responded to me or quoted me, if my post moved the thread in a good direction or if I was misunderstood, etc. Now when I search by username, it only shows the threads I created. This is all using advanced search. The regular search (just clicking the icon) seems to show some threads that I posted in but didn't start, but doesn't show my most recent posts. I can no longer post something, and an hour later use the search engine to go straight to my post to check the thread. What gives/am I missing something?

Ok nevermind I figured out how to go to User CP and show all posts. Still, I miss the old advanced search, you could get shit done with that thing!

Advanced search is still available. Just click "advanced search" in the not quite upper right hand corner.

As for the functionality you are requesting check out subscribing to threads in this thread. Please vote if you haven't already
