Problems vaping (JWH) off foil

Alright so I've been vaping JWH off foil for several hours now, I've gone through around 100mg and I've just had a regular high for several hours - previously 15mg in a bowl with tobacco got me extremely high, to the point I couldn't smoke any more. As vaping off foil is meant to be more efficient, I must be doing something wrong.

Basically I have a bit of foil with a small dent in it where the JWH sits, I have a foil straw that I hold in my mouth slightly above the JWH, I then move a lighter up from underneath until it turns into vapour, and try to inhale it at the right time. I think the problem is with when I inhale, as a lot of the time I'll exhale and blow out no vapour..

Any ideas? Sorry if this is a little vague, I'm just a bit upset about it, the last couple of days have sucked for me and now I've wasted like 100mg of JWH trying to get this technique down and I'm still failing, I don't want to give up now, otherwise the 100mg was wasted for nothing..

Try waiting for it to start to smoke before you inhale. I hadn't heard of JWH until a few days ago but my boyfriend (you can figure it out, LOL) showed me and I have never been so stoned in my life.

If your straw is long enough(and it should be) then you should be able to see the straw sucking up the vapors. After enough practice you should know how hard to breath in and the distance of the straw from the foil. Timing and positioning is everything.

And IMO you shouldn't really be able to see the vapors you blow out unless you have a nice tolerance or are applying the fire directly to the jwh. All the times I was able to clearly see myself blowing out lots of vapors it typically meant I smoked way to much and will probably be way to high.

I use an ink pen shell as a straw which works really well. The trick (ime) is to correctly time the point where you start to inhale. I apply the flame under the foil and within 2-3 seconds I start inhaling, around the same time the powder liquifies but before I see any vapor. I make a small dent where the jwh sits so the liquid doesnt roll around making me chase it around the foil with my straw and lighter.

I also inhale as deeply as I can making sure all of the vapor I see coming off of the foil is sucked into the straw. I've always been satisfied with a single hit depending on how much powder I put onto the foil, always blowing out quite a bit of vapor as I exhale.

I always found this method to be the best as it conserves more powder compared to smoking it in a bowl on other substances with a direct flame. But I never had glass vape pipe which I assume would make all other methods obsolete.

The problem is, I literally spark the flame and within half a second the JWH is liquid and gone, so I don't seem to have time to inhale, nevermind to wait to inhale. It's all too quick.

Does that mean I'm holding the flame too close? And if that's the case, should I just keep the flame far away and wait for it to heat or bring it up close then pull it away etc?

Thanks :)

Edit: I gave it a few attempts this morning, I thought I failed them all but now I'm really really high. I still wasted some but I'm guessing one of my attempts (probably the last one) got it right, so I'll try again later and see if I can repeat the same results :)

Edit2: Okay, I've done it a few more times today, seems to be working good. I can't tell whether I'm doing it right or not, but the high usually creeps up on me like 3 mins after what I thought was a failed attempt, and then I'm nice and high, so I guess I got the method finally :)

Do you fold your foil in half? I always do as to not burn through it. This is probably why it takes a couple seconds to vaporize. But as my liquid starts disapearing I can see quite a bit of vapor coming off the foil. Is the vapor visable when you do it? Depending on the dose, one attempt usually does me well. It sucks your having difficulties. :\

I don't fold my foil in half, it's pretty badly creased so I find an area in the center where I've already burned off all the nasty stuff (aka it's black on the other side), make a dip, and vape it off that.

I've been doing pretty well with vaping but I've noticed the last couple of days I've messed up a couple of times. I'm thinking this could be because of two things, because one the foil is so creased, and two it's starting to get holes in it so I could be losing some of the liquid.

Time for a new piece of foil?
