Heroin Problems hitting anyone?

Thanks for taking the time to help me. I just hit in that huge vein on the ankle/foot.
My exchange gives out 1cc 27G x 1/2". Yes I have narcan from the exchange, I have used it before too. I'm trying to go there myself to get the stuff actually, my uncle gets it so it's in the house.

No problem.

ehhh.. still sticking with that foot region hugh?? i know the vein your talking of just take care!

that is great you have narcan on hand. hopefully you will not need to use it again any time soon but if so its wonderful that it is there. so i am giving you a link that might be helpful for better vein care for you. hope there is some information that helps you and your "process"!

Check out this self help guide on safe injection, there is a whole section on which spots r safest to hit. (Back of your hands ring safer than feet)

I always heard withdrawl made ur veins sink in but I never had this problem. Some good tips to make ur veins pop r to try working out or take a really warm bath/shower before shooting.

A not so good suggestin I got from a friend was to hold ur breath and make all the blood rush to ur head like u r constipated! LOL! Sounds sad but he said he NEVER tied off and always did this to get a vein.

illinois hasnt got narcan available yet you eoukd think chicago would have that by now at least in the city limits. i didnt ask the exchange but i think they woukd have offered it i it was available is that a muscle shot? the narcan? where do they rexcomend injecting that stuff

hey... .. chicago's exchange does and has carried narcan! if you do not see it out when you visit a van or the exchange yourself just ask and they will happily give you some along with some IM syringes and information on proper use, administration/amounts. i gave you the c.r.a website, times and location can be found there.

the needle exchange in buffalo offers a course that u take, and they give u 2mg syringes of narcan to carry legally in case of overdose

No one has mentioned it, so in the interest of harm reduction I will.

If you have problems hitting a vein, maybe you should give up while you're ahead and stop. Since that's unlikely, why not plug it? No chance of stroke/necrosis, no abcesses, and less danger of blood borne diseases. The onset is pretty rapid, usually rapid enough to be considered a more minor "rush" and the duration of the effects are longer.

So you have:

1. Slightly slower onset
2. Longer duration
3. Less of a chance of an abscess leading to septicemia/thrombosis/necrosis. (Google injection abscess on images....)

Honestly, other than a needle infatuation I see no reason to keep trucking ahead (and that is a bad reason) at being the bestest IV user eva! And since you obviously suck at injecting stuff you should have no needle fever, and you should give the way I mentioned a go.

Yes, you need SLIGHTLY more to get the same effect, but since you get the benefit of point three above, you should consider the pros and cons very carefully.

I usually would sit for 2 hours if I have to o make sure I get a perfect hit. I never waste a drop. Last night was a freak accident and pissed me off all night. I just woke up and di my morning blast fine with a 31g short tip in a little vein.

My way you would get the prize for being the stupidest retard on earth if it took you more than 5 seconds to administer.

Edit: maybe you do have a needle infatuation, but all my points still stand.

indeed true, in the mornings when u first wake up, its real hard to find a vein and hit. staying hydrated and being warm will expose ur veins more. cold weather hides ur veins, I have sat in a bathtub, and just injected under the hot water while my veins popped up as i can only hit on my wrist and feet...stay warm, stay hydrated, u should have no problem

Ew.. in the feet? Fuck, I wouldn't do that.. even as a last resort. Last time I did, I swear I developed a rash and that shit itched/hurt every 5 minutes.
I've been using for a few years, and have been relentless on my vein(s). I only use the mainline on my left arm, and that's multiple times a day, sometimes with a dull ol faithful too.
Surprisingly, my vein still shows, and I don't have to use a tourniquet at all. I can just stick & hit.

One thing that helps, is, out-stretching my arm fully, and twisting it a bit - so my palm is facing upwards. This helps so the vein doesn't move when you go to stick and if you haven't completely destroyed your vein you'll be able to see it move under the skin, giving you a good idea of where it is.

But, like I said. I was blessed with huge veins that haven't collapsed despite years of abuse.
Try using a tourniquet and use my method.

Be careful with ur dull needles, don't want to have a bevel on it and pull out more than just a needle from ur arm.
