Lol.. Chess helped me survive during my incarceration(s). A lot of people were surprised to see a young white dope fiend that was actually a quality chess player.
 
I feel ya bro, knowing you could do some time is nerve racking shit. but 6 months to 3 years? that's nothin bro i can do 6 months on the toilet, and 3 years on my head.

don't sweat it to bad bro, i mean it's gonna suck but it could be way worse.
 
I'll have to agree with Blueberry man.. I mean, sure, prison is the most intimidating place I can think of, but if its a small sentence, you will survive.. Just don't commit any more crimes once you're in there.
I guess there's no way of avoiding this situation..
Whether or not you actually wanted to commit a robbery, the damage is done & you got busted for it. I think you should just accept the outcome, do your time ifexpected, and re-start your life with a fresh non gang related slate.
You could always do the runner. But with today's technology you will probably get caught and face a ridiculous amount of time locked up.
Suicide?? Suicides never the answer. You'll destroy your life your future and the future of those who care about you.
You can beat prison. It's not the end of the world, just a scary leap into hell for one moment in your long life.
 
dont run, you might as well run to the lawyers house ;) haha. If you go to jail take it easy and u will get through it, talk to your lawyer and confront him about his bullshit! I know what its like living life looking over one shoulder but honestly we all knew what we was doing was wrong and punishable by law so not to sound like a saint but you just got to eat up the shit and take what gets thrown at you. If you dont like it leave your shitty country but its no assurance that things will improve, freedom means being able to sleep at night too!
 
Brokenpromise, where do you live? This lawyer you have sounds like an absolute dick. Was the 20k just your retainer fee? Sounds horrible, but I don't know how you could get your money back and you would be forfeiting bail. You're best off just doing out time and getting it done with. Unless your family has more funds for someone better. I would hate to see you go to prison, but warrants will follow you for years and years. You won't be able to drive anywhere unless you have fake identity and that's no safe bet. You'll always be worried and stressed and you can't live like that.
