Preventing bacterial growth in volumetric solutions?

I've made a 2C-B HCl solution using filtered tap water. Should I expect any bacterial growth? I'm storing it on a sealed container at room temperature. 150ml at 10mg/ml.

If so, what are the most effective ways to prevent it without messing the concentration? I would prefer to not use alcohol.

I'm thinking about adding a few drops of vinegar, and maybe salt or sugar. Any thoughts?

Add ethyl alcohol (CH3CH2OH) is the best and easiest way, but you said you didn't want to. If you plan on consuming within the next month or so, then no preservatives are probably really needed. Another option is to add potassium or sodium benzoate.
