Prescription turned addiction. Sober payh

Hello.
Ive been off an pain meds for kidney stones over 12 years.

Recently after becominh sick and being prescribed 60 perks a week for 4 months. Doctor cut me off. I was still in pain do i turned to street drugs the 4 months using oxycontin up to 240mg a day.
Now i am trying to quit. 1 day sober. Went to hospital they gave me 2 doses of 2mg suboxone. It didnt seem to help alot but a little.

They wouldnt give me script just a referral which i think is crazy. I need help through withdrawl. Im not sure what to do.

I guess i will try the referall but not sure what they will do to help.

Kidney stone pain for 12 years? Could you not just have them removed or am I missing something? Check your diet for purine levels and have a look at Uralyt-U to maintain a healthy PH level for your urine. Both helped me and I was able to pass mine within a month.

We do have a 'Sober Living' section that you can find here where you will find information on a taper etc.

The amount of times I hear about people in long term pain maintenance being cut off from the doctor without a taper or alternative treatment is a disgrace.
