Hello All,
I'm looking for some advice regarding prescription drugs.
I would like to have a friend, relative or third party hold and dispense my medication (psychostimulants) for about about 60 days or so. The arrangement I have in mind is that another person could keep the bottle of meds, and each morning I would get my daily ration from them.
In other words, I'm trying to establish an arrangement that mirrors how meds would be dispensed if I were staying in a hospital. The idea is to get the meds out of my reach for a bit.
I'm aware that it's illegal for anyone aside from myself or a medical professional to hold the meds on my behalf. I'm wondering if there's a legal way around this barrier. Perhaps I could have a friend assigned the legal status of medical proxy, something approved in court? Or perhaps I could hire nurse or certified nurse's assistant to legally perform this role?
Any advice is appreciated. Again, the whole point is how can I get a third party arrangement established legally. Thanks.
