So I did some H yesterday and have a UA in 2 days. I am prescribed hydrocodone. I know they are different classes (H is an opiate, hydro is a semisynthetic opioid) so some tests will distinguish these if I assume the worst and the H is still in me. Are preemployment UAs generally that specific or will they likely just test for "opiates/opioids" in one panel?
If I had a morphine or codeine scrip I'd be ok because H and codeine and morphine all show the same and have the same metabolites as long as the 6-MAM is all gone after doing H, but I really just want to know this: will having the hydro scrip save my ass assuming the H shows up? It's not for court, it's a preemployment urinalysis. Thanks for any input!!
