So I was (and still am, in a way) addicted to prescription stimulants. Recently my doctor found out however, and I've been switched meds for my ADD.
I've been taking bupropion (Welbutrin) for about 9 months for chronic depression as well as curbing stimulant cravings. Now I am to be taking atomoxetine (Strattera) along with that.
I've been taking 300mg bupropion in 2 SR doses of 150mg in the day. Now I am to take 150mg bupropion in the morning along with 40 mg of Strattera, and work my way up from there.
Does this seem like an effective combo/replacement for stimulants? I'm really hoping I can get that clarity back that I had on stimulants and be able to read full paragraphs without zoning out. Also, does anyone have positive reviews on Strattera? I'm not interested in negative ones, as I plan on at least trying it regardless of the reviews it gets.
Thanks
