hey again friends....another topic my living food fanaticism has spawned.
How viable would a lemon-water extraction be if there was no heat applied...?? I don't want to extract anything, just make an infusion. I was thinking blend the cactus, put it in a cheese cloth, soak it in a bowl of lemon water for a few days (maybe in fridge to prevent spoilage) and then squeeze.
the other method i am considering is juicing the cactus in my intense centrifugal juicer :D lol
i figure it would yield a slime of sorts, but i'm wondering how much would be left in the pulp.
figure i'll just put the pulp into the lemon water, and drink the slime juice first.
any info on this, or suggestions for alternate soaking mediums (organic raw) would be appreciated.
thanks
