I'm not sure if this is common knowledge to all, but this link in particular has served incredibly useful for those rare times where powders remain elusive and withdrawal has led me back to my mortar and pestle. Regardless, it should be a bookmark to all who use opiates.

*snip* this link contains outdated, not-HR information

Note: If you have Morphine Sulfate, swallow or rail them or be prepared to engage in a hell of a struggle as they gel up almost instantly, the little devils.

That converter gave me some way off results. It said Oxycodone 100mg oral is equivalent to Morphine 1200mg oral, that's way too much morphine. It said Oxycodone 10mg oral is equivalent to 40mg Methadone oral, I don't know much about Methadone but again, I think that's way too much Methadone. It also said IV Oxymorphone lasts 4-6 hours; maybe if you have no tolerance it does but I don't think anyone with a tolerance to IV Oxymorphone could go that long.

Here is another converter just for comparisions sake: http://www.globalrph.com/opioidconverter2.htm

Like I said take with a grain of salt. It's more for a ballpark figure for one's curiosity, certainly not to be taken literally. I should have better clarified that above. Certain conversions are more true than for others with the website I mentioned above (the Oxycodone to Morphine conversion seems unrealistic, though the Oxycodone to Methadone conversion is sufficient). Actually, with Oxymorphone (via parenteral administration (subcutaneous, IM etc.) you are looking at about an 1 h half-life and 7-9 h h (when administered orally), though depending on certain factors the initial high may be felt anywhere between 45 m to 2 h.

I was reccommended to use the following document (for it's accuracy) that I've uploaded below when calculating conversions (requires work by hand):

That link in the OP is NOT one of harm reduction.....

"Heat the water with a lighter until the pill JUST starts to dissolve on the edges."

"Draw the contents into a syringe through a cotton. "

"Once you get all of the clumps covered with water, heat it gently; don't boil it. When heating, you can actually see the fillers and crap move around and come together."

It is never a good idea to heat pills or use cottons to "filter". Heating pills is doing NOTHING but adding more cut into your shot. As for using cottons, it hardly filters it at all. Its almost as if the people who use them are just so high on dope that they think it'll work. I suggest using a micron filter, the search function can provide you with a lot of information on that.

Perhaps, I should have made mention of that as well. A micronfilter makes an excellent investment (can be ordered easily online). And, yes to add to that, whilst heating pills is certainly not recommended, it is sometimes necessary for certain pills with particular properties/fillers-binders (although it is by no means safe).

Addicts are going to do what addicts are going to do. At least this way approximate steps can be taken, opposed to guestimation (which in my experience, is more unsafe and leads to less chance of damaging your drug and sacrificing your high).

Shame. I've never had any problem with the steps suggested on the website I mentioned (after some modifications, of course).

Thank you for the heads up though.

I don't disagree that a micron filter is really the only prudent means of filtration for prepping pharmaceuticals for injection, but cotton certainly isn't entirely worthless or non-beneficial. Two or three passes through cotton gets rid of the visible insoluble, cloudy, filler/binder sludge. If cotton is all you have available for filtration, it's by no means wasted time or effort to utilize it as best you can.
