I am sitting on many ampule of fentanyl: 250 mcg / 5 mL.
50 mcg/mL - .05 mg/mL
I IV'd an ampul over the course of 5 shots, 50mcg per shot, using 1 mL rigs. Which has me high, but not where I prefer to be.
Now this is a bit time consuming and rough on the viens to do this many times. I know fentanyl works great buccaly, so I am wondering if I can soak the ampules in say cotton swab, gum, anything basically that would hold it.
Would that be a more viable method of using these? And what dose would I start with?
Tolerance wise, a single ampul has me high,but not extremely. My DOC is hydromorphone, and I usually IV between 12-16mg and has me toasted for a while.
