I took a lot of pregablin last weekend every 4 hours I was taking 450 mg capsules. I took my last dose about 7 pm Sunday. Today 5 days later I notice that I still feel the anti anxiety effects and it’s effects on my metabolism mainly water retention and bloating constipation etc. My vision was trippy up until yesterday as well. Is this normal for the amounts I took as took a Lott sometimes even 900 mg at once. I’ve never had it take this long for it to stop affecting my body

Pregabalin lasts a very long time for me and although I do not have all the side effects you described, I definitely get the trippy vision as you described and would say that everything you're experiencing is normal for a lot of people but side effects are always different for different people. High doses knock me out for some incredibly great 12 hour sleeps but like anything else, this effect quickly diminishes so like anything else it's not something you want to take at high doses unless you want to experience some possibly sever negative withdrawals. There seems to be a lot of variation of its effects but again everything you described is experienced by a lot of other users.

Yea I understand that it’s just that I took my last dose 5 days ago now surely I shouldn’t still be feeling the affects on my my metabolism and digestion. I’m wondering if I’ve done damage but I think it’s just where I took such a large amount over the last weekend

Has anybody noticed a huge difference between the Pfizer capsules and the generic ones ?Probably tolerance .I do not exceed the prescribed maximum daily dose but taking it consistently for a good 2 months or so now. Been stuck with a crumb (0.5 mg /day ) of Subutex for 1/2 a year now. Doing my head in.

Have you looked into getting the shot? One sublocade shot and then nothing. People have quitted even fentanyl with that method without experiencing withdrawals.

I have ,yes. Buprenorphine is by far the worst substance I´ve ever been addicted to. Right up there with Methadone no doubt. Of course age and life´s circumstances/ unresolved/aggravated issues dictate the duress of the process.
Anyways ...that is what I will probably end up doing Sublocade shot ). I hear/read great things about it. In the meanwhile I came across some GBL which I will soon convert to GHB and use it as a substitute. Even as GBL I´ve noticed it helps a lot with cravings ,depression ,anxiety. Only downside I see ,besides the risk of swapping addictions ,is abdominal/digestive discomfort which I´m hoping GBL to GHB conversion will solve.
I know I´m threading very thin ice here. Very aware the "Rock bottom " I´m stuck in now has the potential to sink further down fast with the substances I´m dabbling with.

I´ve also recently found out that GBL/GHB is also great at substantially reducing your daily Pregabalin intake. I´ve easily gone from 750/900mgs to 300mgs by simply dosing 1.25 -1.50 ml GBL at 18:00 which easily allows me not to dose 300mgs Pregab in the afternoon and cut a couple other 150mgs pills in the morning and later before bed.
When I use the word "easily " I mean without any noticeable withdrawal effects. Thought I would share.
