Gabapentinoids Pregabalin for cocaine withdrawal?

Correct, that's whar I said. It is a structural analog of GABA, not a functional analog. Same as MSG is a structural analog of GHB, but they clearly do not function the same in the human body do they?

My point being, just because something is chemically similar doesn't mean it does the same thing in the body.

I'm really really not sure how to be any more clear... Like this is rudamentary stuff...

No one was talking about them being gabapentinoids ffs. The closest we got was when @canadianpeduser claimed that they are gabaergic because they are structurally related to GABA (in this case, gabapentinoids to be specific. These drugs bind the the receptor site you described NOT GABA RECEPTORS!!!!!!! I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO BE MORE CLEAR SO I AM USING ALL CAPS!!!)

Don't intrude on a conversation which you haven't the slightest clue about. I was explaining very clearly to them the difference between a structural analog and a functional analog (a concept which STILL seems to elude you somehow; and yet you give me attitude?) The person said its gabaergic; its not, its structurally similar to GABA though which you clearly love repeating time and time again after I already said they were.

Edit: sorry, I lost my temper. I fucking hate repeating myself in 10 different ways for multiple people to STILL not understand me, and even try to challenge me in this case. If you don't understand pharmacology, just keep quiet. Please. The shit gets old fast.

Pregabalin is kind of an one chemical fixes everything thingy when dosed high enough. It feels sorta like a dissociative if I remember it correctly. But it also has the worst tolerance pattern I've ever experienced on any drug, it works for 1-2 days then you have to up the dosage, and I never gotten so high again like with my first high dosed attempt. This might be due to dissociative permatolerance I've acquired in between. And pregabalin is limited because at 1.6g I got a seizure - something I never had before. There were warning signs, like slight electric zaps in my extremities though. Read of some poor girl who was hooked on 10 freaking grams a day. Pregabalin also seems to provoke a withdrawal if used for some time - I never got that, despite being scripted 600mg/d and for the last weeks or so I was alternating with 900mg. This substance definitely makes you chatty, I got that too and liked it because I am usually somebody who doesn't know what to say.

Pregabalin is a GABA analogue without abuse potential, although the action mechanism is not same with benzodiazepine agents. This property is important in patients who need to withdraw benzodiazepine or may have abuse propensity

search for ibogain treatment, it stop cravings once for all. It rebalance your dopamine levels to the level it was before your first time doing drugs. Serious, its miraculous. I don't know if you have it on US since its a class 1 drug, but you have it in Brazil
