Opioids predisone blocked pain relief from oxy?

my body is having another very serve bout of swollen feet, rashes, sleeplessness been to my dr they just cant figure it out. but they gave me predisone for my feet and I have my 10 percosets. so I took a percoset and was feeling a high/relief from that then 30 mins later took my 20 megs predisone. i'm now back to the sneezing/ chills I had before the oxy. any advice on how long to wait before trying more oxy? i'm seriously considering the er my pain is like an 8 right now. thanks
