prebaking weed.

i was just checking out the firecracker megathread and this is the first time ive heard of prebaking weed to potentially more than double the strength.

how many people have tried this??

and i got to thinking, is it just the temperature that does it or the duration as well?

Because if its just the temp, that could explain why vaping seems to be stronger, and also if you were to use a lighter but keep the flame from touching the weed while you hit it, which i do on greens to get that sweet sweet flavor, wouldnt that do the trick also??

It doesnt matter whether the flame touches the weed if it gets hot enough for the weed to start burning (if it's glowing red, it's burning!). I have never seen anyone able to smoke weed with a lighter without it burning.


I've tried pre-baking my weed. I've tried several temperatures (notes were lost, though), for varying durations, and i've got a tin of "heat treated" weed. I can't tell the difference, quite frankly.
Well, I can tell the difference, the heat treated stuff tastes different, but the effects are the same.
