Breathing through the nose helps (alternative method) although right before climax breathing heavily through the mouth makes the orgasm much more intense

From what I've been told, those exercises can actually weaken an already healthy and strong PC muscle, thereby making premature ejaculation worse. And for someone OP's age, there's no reason for why his PC muscle shouldn't already be healthy and strong.

I've tried all of those suggestions before, and I can honestly say that I saw very little improvement in my ability to last longer. It comes with time, young grasshopper, time...

And I disagree. I am 18, and PC exercises have helped me tremendously. Kegels, reverse kegels, and edging baby.

I've found the control of my ejaculation to be much easier now, more than ever before...and sometimes I can still have orgasms without cumming!

We know that over-exercising can inversely lead to the weakening of muscles; this isn't disputed, and you can go ahead and do the research as I have.

But because you've called me out before doing the research and likely won't, I'll just go ahead and leave this here...

Men also frequently do not comply with doctors’ prescribed regimens. With the male population, however, the reason for noncompliance is frequently the opposite of what is seen with women. Men often over-exercise when told to do Kegels. And with Kegels, more is not always better. Men or women who do too many Kegels run the risk of ending up with tired bladder control muscles and a worse problem with incontinence than before.

You may fail to see results from Kegel exercises if you use the wrong muscles, perform too many Kegel exercises or do not perform Kegel exercises daily, advises Rudick. If you contract your abdominal, thigh or buttocks muscles while trying to do a Kegel, you place pressure on your pelvic organs, making incontinence worse. When you perform more than 30 to 50 Kegels a day, you can actually tire your pelvic floor muscles, which increases incontinence. Failure to perform Kegel exercises regularly will do little to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.

And finally...

The problem isn’t so much that this muscle group is weak, but that it can be overused and worn out.

The PC muscle can induce early ejaculation by two means. First, overuse and constant exercise may strain the muscles. If you have a weak erection, you are most likely already using it to artificially “pump up” your penis.

Men also use the PC muscle to slightly aid the control of ejaculation and urination. A healthy male however, will rarely use his PC muscles during sex. A strong blood flow with enough of the proper hormones in the body will make the erection hard and full by itself (no muscles are required for an erection).

The ability of the parasympathetic nerves to control and hold back ejaculation will be strong. The idea that a strong PC muscle will cure a weak erection, impotence, and premature ejaculation is wrong. Strengthening might slightly help, but you will never cure your problem this way.

In fact, overuse can sometimes strain and destroy these muscles and make your problems even worse.

Oh, and I found this interesting and entirely plausible as well:

The other way the PC muscles induce a faster orgasm is by affecting the prostate. Since the PC muscles surround the prostate gland, the constriction of these muscles pushes against the prostate and applies more pressure than normal. Since the prostate (sometimes referred to as the “Male G-Spot”) produces, houses, and releases your semen, the last thing you want to do is to provide extra stress to it.

So, yeah, there's a wealth of information out there on all of this. There are those who will say that the exercises work, that they've tried them, and that the can now last for hours in bed. 8)

Then, there are those... like me... who will argue that if you're not 48 years old and if you're already a healthy young man with an already healthy and strong PC muscle, then there's really no reason for the exercises, and they could potentially do more harm than good.

Ok so yea I know I had to bring the gay in this sorry. I think its normal for some guyd but u can find ways of not letting it happen. I've read some very good feedback. Its never happened to me because at your age I was just starting to have sex with other guys I was a nervous wreck. But on 2 sperate occasion somone was giving me head before I could even touch his he came all on the carpet and wasn't even touching it he was 18. Anything else, really. Smashed to me denotes a lack of respect for sex itself.. I've heard it used almost exclusively by 16-17 year old boys at raves. Its just a lame buzzword to me..... Just a pet peeve. When I hear a girl say it I get especially flaccid.

You should listen to Verso. I think people can get into a habit of over using the PC muscles while masturbating which tires them out so when you come to actually having sex you have less control. From the limited research i've done it seems that by working on strengthening the BC muscles can help you stay in control. As well as edging.

If you find yourself tensing your PC muscles when masturbating that might be the problem. Maybe try and consciously relax and not overuse the PC muscles while taking deep breaths.
