Let me learn from my life,
as I kneel here in hell.
I want to remember the lessons you've taught me,
the times that I fell.
From grace, you've caught me,
and taught me to live pure and without hate.
Allow me to be open-minded,
guide me towards my fate.
And if I have to suffer again,
please let me gain knowledge through it.
Fill me with love,
and teach me how not to quit.
To the people whom I care for,
my family, my friends, and their families too.
Watch over them,
let them feel your love too.
Be with me, everywhere,
in good times and in despair.
When I look up into the clouds,
When I breathe in fresh air.
