what always fucks me up is me shaking, with anticipating and anxiety that it will pierce thru the vein or something. once u go in ur vein, and u see blood shoot into the needle by itself, ur in ur vein, just for precaution pull the plunger back very slowly and only a little to make sure more blood comes in, then slowly push the drug into your vein and be steady, dont make a habit of keep pulling back to make sure ur in the vein, otherwise u may slip out, and have a needle full of thick blood which will be even harder to tell if ur in the vein, not to mention the blood clotting

Look at the point on the syringe.... You will see that it is kind of slanted where the hole is at. The hole needs to be facing the vein, not the other way.
