Cocaine Powdered cocaine for temporary opioid withdrawals?

the only time ive tried this i also had a small dose of subs, but not enough. the combo actually was pretty good but im not sure how it wouldve gone without the little bit of sub. also it seems like your blood pressure would explode between kicking dope and doing coke.

What a incredible up day today is, after 3days at low to no comfort + minimal pain control , no to mention the anxiety, sleeplessness, etc... typical WD's. ... my rx is back and taking it slow for a few days really does benefit the body. I would strongly recommend this taper, even if you have meds , just to give your body and vital organs a break, sort of like a fasting thing, as little as I personally do believe in this it does assist with benefiting the patient as your next dose will more than likely feel a lot stronger and help with chronic pains.

I literally feel like a million bucks. Now, the next step is to keep on schedule and no go through it again for a year..... time to complete house chores, clean, jack off, and shop for foods... live.

Cokes a bad idea for any withdrawal unless you have an opiate mixed with it, which defeats the purpse of withdrawing. You could mix a benzo in there and probably be alright, but I think your body is already in a taxed state, and any cocaine will tax it more and leave you feeling weaker. Sigmund Freud actually did try to cure morphine addiction with cocaine. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/24/b...d-markel-book-review.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

Thanks for the great article Sid, ohh... how I miss my lsd days ... long time back , had some excellent 30 or so trips +/- .... moving along now. I shall save it and research further. Take care.

Ha.. I'm such a coke head.. yeah id do it... get me a little more motivated to do something.. also IMO the dopamine release will kill the insane depression associated with opiate withdraw, yeah im not going to comment on when the coke is gone.. ok i will it will be BAD.. and it doesn't take away 90% of the withdraw.. Up to U?

I've heard of coke or other stims masking the effects of withdrawal for some people, but it takes a lot of coke to continue to stay at that level as your tolerance increases for a week or two during your detox while you're tweaked all day every day. And eventually you're going to have to stop or you're going to run out (probably very soon as the compulsive nature of coke makes most people blow through it) then you should be prepared for the worst crash in history.

Cocaine is way too short in duration for any therapeutic purpose except as topical anesthetic (numbing). I tried a gram and dont get why the media makes a big deal about it, its benign IMO.

Look for something longer in duration if you want to go down this path

Meth does a better job than coke at killing opioid withdrawals, in my experience...particularly in combination with alcohol and weed. Not that I'm advocating that sort of thing, but it does make you feel better, at least till the comedown.

Horrible idea...first off, IME cocaine gets me so excitable and fiendish that I have trouble not vomiting and shooting watery shit all over the place before I even do it. afterwords it's gauranteed... Even if I had been shooting dope and drinking methadone all day. So my point is that you're already going to have issues with the runs and nausea from dope Wd, why aggravate those unpleasant symptoms. Also, cocaine IME is one of the most anxiety causing stimulants that I have experienced-again, something you don't need more of.

IME methamphetamine actually did seem to get me through some opiate withdrawal, though it's not like I detoxed. I had been on 30mg/day of methadone and stopped going to the clinic for four days and didnt use any opiate to substitute it, just methamphetamine. However, it's really not a wise choice to substitute one class of insanely addictive drugs for another, even if your intentions are just to use it for a short period of time.

I wouldn't reccomend this. . .tried it once during an early heroin kick. Christ, it turned my moderate w/ds into something else entirely. I'd stay the hell away from coke until you've been off opiates for a while
