Hello everyone, if this has been asked before then please lock this thread or if its been placed in the wrong sub forum then I apologise. I was listening to a friend and he regularly performs a CWE to extract codeine. However when studying the leaflet on a new brand of pills he noticed an odd ingredient called Povidone. He was wondering if these will be safe to use as his research suggests that it potentially effects the solubility of paracetamol in water.

Any help on this odd ingredient will be great :)

Providone has always been in a large amount of APAP containing pills.

It may cause your CWE to have a white colour but it should not effect the CWE.
