Opioids Potientiate question

Hello,
If I was to potientiate say hydrocodone with grapefruit,promethazine or some other means, would you cut down on the dosage? Say I take 50mg of hydro and decided to drink a bottle of grapefruit juice beforehand. Would you still take the 50 or will it potieniate enough to take 30 or 40?

To be on the safe side, lower the dosage. I would recommend taking 30-35 mg to start, wait a bit, see how you feel and then adjust your dose as needed.

It's not necissarily going to hit you harder The duration of analgesia will last longer

You do not need to take less if you are accustomed to 45-50mg then by all means take that with your potentiators. You will not be overdosing by taking a typical dose with some white grapefruit juice..like the person above me said it will just increase both the onset of the euphoria and analgesia and extend the period by which those feelings last.

If you lower your dose it will probably even out or be less if you go down to 30 mg. Also, for me I take benadryl, robitussin with DXM as the only active ingredient, and sometimes grapefruit juice. Personally, I think that the DXM is the best. After I take a swig within a few mins I already feel higher, and it definitely increases the nod along with the benadryl. Be careful though, on many occasion I had continued to take too much benadryl and DXM and went from being high on heroin to fucking robotripping. Not a fun experience, so just gauge the time.
