This guy does what I do when I am out of micron syringe filters (still waiting on my next 100 pack to come from asia...). Except I do use a filter then a barrell full of cotton. Which still is letting < 5 micron talc and other very nasty shit that you are probably better subcuteneously or IM instead of hitting and registering since it will cause severe health problems in the long term. Anyway, I really think this guys site is going to ruin a few people's health down the road. At the very least the guy should use a cigarette filter, or recook what was drawn up to hopefully remove more particulate, agreed?
Especially if you recook it a few times, it will turn oily (the mallies). 0.22 hydrophilic Micron filter has no substitute (ive had good luck with nylon). Am probably going to try MCE next (cellulose).
