Hey guys, there's a little technical glitch that came up in the background that has caused login and access issues for a couple folks since yesterday.

If you're having any issues with the forum, logging in to your account or using it like normal, that is likely why.

Our engineer seems to know what the problem is and how to resolve it, and it should be cleared up in the next 1-2 days. Sorry for any issues caused. Feel free to reach out to an admin if needed.
 
It keeps happening and I have to do the 2FA login with my email and a number even though I check the box to recognize my device for 30 days each time.
 
This constantly happens to me… but I was told to clear all my cookies. May help!

Glad to hear your engineer seems to know what the problem is.

But somehow the problem seems to be getting worse. (just going on the date of this thread in that comment).

I'm just giving feedback, not trying to be a dick. <3

It is not an issue for me to have to "log in" every time I visit Bluelight, but then why not just remove the "Stay logged in" function.

That removes the "issue". (I know this might seem "sarcastic", but just being logical here).

Sorry, my bad, just a bit frustrated and looking for any updates from your tech team on the progress on a solution or an ETA of the fix as 1 or 2 days has past almost a week ago.

Hopefully this feedback could spark an idea for your tech guys - for reference this has only been effecting me from this morning and the point of this post is to try give some "user" feedback.


Further feedback for this is a bit of troubleshooting my cellphone login to BL, so.......

I tried my cellphone and it wasn't an issue until I logged out of BL on the cellphone, then when logging in again and trying to "untick" "Stay logged in"/ "tick" "Stay logged in".....
this issue is now occurring on both devices (PC and Phone).

I will be guessing the fix will be implemented in the following betting statistic...... Over 2 weeks = -110 for the US guys or 9.1/10 for the OG's. :p
in less than two weeks +350 US or 5/2 OG bookmaker standards.

just to add some spice to the technical team.... no pressure.. oh almost forgot the "Form line" started 29th so it has been twelve days.... hence the odds. can it be done in two days... starting Monday... I mean the weekend is the weekend. Can't expect to be running a "sweat shop" here. So let's say if fixed by Midnight Wednesday, the "Less than two weeks" bet wins. not bad odds.... considering. 250% profit.

Everything takes a while to load. Everywhere.

There seems to be an extreme lag on a shitload of sites !!

But it actually seems to be quite normal and the sign of the times

now maybe. When I try to log out here the cache is very slow

and is kind of slow to actually get out.

So it's like a reverse effect for me. I don't have a problem logging in

but is just always difficult to log out each time.

I know everyone is spread really thin.
My lack of tech knowledge speaks for itself so I can’t pretend to know what the hell im talking about or offer any suggestions.

All I know is that I’ve had a few members PM me and ask what’s been going on. I think @deficiT made this post due to my own initial concerns.

Even though people are tapping “stay logged in for 30 days”, they’re continuously being kicked out across all browsers. Which is unusual.

Not “end of days” stuff… but frustrating in the way that this sort of thing often is.

Good to know that it's not just staff it's users too, so that eliminates a possible speculation of mine about the issue anyway, maybe
