Potential hazards of Yellow MDMA crystal?

i've had white mdma crystals before, so i was a little sketched out when my last purchase had a yellow/brownish tint to it. I've done some research on mdma synthesis and it sounds to me as if the chemist skipped out on the acetone wash.

i have about half a gram still in very small crystals, and i was wondering if it would be possible for me to do my own acetone wash? I was thinking about getting a testtube and finding a very fine micro filter to cover the top with, potentially a grinder gauze or something similar.

do you guys think this would work? and if it did work would i lose a good chunk of the crystals?

Like the poster above mentioned: it can come in all sorts of colours, just like pills. Maybe someone added a colour, maybe somebody added another ingreadient with that colour, maybe you are right in your idea...

I wouldn't even think of doing my own chempclass experiments on mdma at home, but for you it might be different.

The only way to know what you have is by testing it. Pure, washed mdma should be clearish-white, depending on how much you have. Mdma crystals are supposed to be that color, but depending on how it was made and if it was washed, or how well it was washed would result in different colors. Most normal colors are white to yellow to brown, but the only way to know your MDMA is by testing it. I have heard of people doing their own acetone washes, it is very possible to do it on your own, but I would never personally do it. Color is not a true indication of anything.

i know some very frequent MDMA users who have tried this and vouch 100% for its consistency, and these guys are quite experienced with ecstasy/mdma as well as many other drugs. I know that color isn't the best indicator, but i'm quite positive this is mdma so my only issue lies with the impurities. The acetone wash is essentially the last step in cleaning the crystal in mdma synthesis, so i really don't see any potential harm in doing this to clean some of the impurities out. before this step is done the crystal is described as yellowish/brown which is just what mine looks like.

does anyone have any reasons why i shouldn't try this? i'm mostly worried about possible side effects of the acetone. after drying the crystals will remainig acetone evaporate or set in the crystal?

Blue - The purest form and a high dose.

Green - Your Good to Go. Good clean fun

Yellow - Be cautioned, it may not be as strong.

Orange - Your pills most likely contain speed

Red - Your pills are 100% Meth

In truth it shouldn't matter what color your MDMA is. You need to buy a testing kit and be adult about this. We cant tell what "theoretical" hazards may be....bluelight is not about guesswork. For all you know it could be bomb MDMA and could have been washed improperly.

Or it could be meth crushed up with Yellow Bart simpson Piperazine...who knows?

We could speculate all day but it aint gunna do shit. I honestly dont know why you would rather play chemist and invest all your time in a strange washing method than just buy a testing kit. You will probably fuck it up and end up wasting a bunch of MDMA.

Best bet, grab a bag of dank herb and a six pack of Bud Light while you wait for your kit to arrive in the mail.

please read my previous post. this is all in the interest of harm reduction and avoiding nasty carcinogenic impurities. not only is a test kit unavailable to me at this current time, but it would do nothing but tell me the purity of the product. a test kit will not tell me if it was improperly distilled or washed. as i have said i am 100% sure this is mdma, so i feel my interests in removing the discoloration/impurities are quite justified..

why shouldnt an acetone wash work? youll end up with a cleaner product for sure, but nobody can tell you how much weight/dirt/real mdma youll lose.

i´d say, if you know what to do & how to do it - go for it. theres nothing to lose except a few molecules.
