I found out last friday my ex boyfriend died, the corona report has not come back yet. However it is suspected he died of a drug OD. He was 20 years old, had been doing drugs for about a year. The drugs that he took were: coke, ket & e.

However.. the week before he died he started to use methadone. It has been said that on the thursday before he died he had take 50mg of methadone, he was niave opiate and had only been taking them for a week. Is this dose too high?

I have a feeling that on the thursday night, he had done 50mg of methadone and as he was a regular coke user, done some lines of coke. Probably had alcohol too.

He did wake up on the friday morning, and texted in sick to work. He was found dead at 2am.

Is the combination of meth & coke deadly? and is it possible if he had done those drugs to have died 12 + hours after he'd taken them? What would he have died of as well?

Any information please would be much appreciated.

First off, I'm terribly sorry to hear about this. I'm sure it was very difficult news to take ♥

With regards to his Opiates use, to do 50mg of Methadone if he is Opiate naive, that is an insanely high dose and is practically certain to cause an overdose. Methadone takes quite a while to come on (around an hour for some people) so some people will take some, think it's not working and then take some more - leading to an OD...
The half-life of Methadone is also extremely long which is something to take into account too.

Combinations of CNS depressants and stimulants can be dangerous in a few different ways. One of those is that the stimulant can make you feel less messed up from the depressant than you actually are, leading to the person taking more of the depressant than they should be doing - again, leading to an OD. This could be one way that could have lead to his death.

smoked crack while twizted, didn't overdose, but crack sucked while on meth. thats scary stuff

possible, (and i know it isnt great that ive done this) but ive mixed alcohol, crystal, k, e, coke, and am on an anti depressent as well, and turned out fine. so maybe the dosage ?

This thread is from 2009, I'm sure the OP got the coroner's report and found out what happened to her ex boyfriend. For the record, methamphetamine mixed with cocaine can certainly kill you, the same applies with all strong stimulants. There really is no need to bring posts like this back around, as the question has been answered and it looks like the OP been on Bluelight since 2009.
